| Explaination | I currently own and control an early stage tech company that is backed by several venture capital funds, including TEDCO and the Maryland Venture Fund. TEDCO and Maryland Venture Fund own a non-controlling stake of approximately 5% of my company, Cerebro Capital, Inc. To the extent that MVF or TEDCO were to want to participate in any future capital raises in my company I would need to recuse myself from those decisions. At this time, I have no capital raise requests for TEDCO or MVF.
Separate from this matter, I see no other conflict of interest and view my experience as recipient of their funds as a perspective that can be very helpful in leading the organization. |
