| Explaination | The Harman Civic Association, Inc (HCA) is a voluntary membership, not for profit civic group that advocates for quality of life issues for its residential members. It has in the past advocated for members who lived within the BWI/Thourogood Marshal Airport noise zone during the joint Federal/State funded airport buyout/noise remediation program. Currently, that program has been greatly reduced/discontinued. The largest amount of activity occurred from the late 1970s to 2008. I testified before the Senate appointment committee and was approved by them February 2023. Sen Pam Biedle is both chair and my dist 32 representative. I have served on BAZA for about a decade or more. |
