| Explaination | I don't think there is an employment situation that warrants exemption given that the Blueprint law outlines collaboration with higher education institutions. I have called the Ethics office for clarity, but in order to submit the form by the deadline, I am submitting in an abundance of caution. The USM currently does not have any contracts or interests with the AIB. There may be a situation in the future in which one of the universities within the USM bids on, and wins, a contract related to data management or other tenets of the Blueprint. I will recuse myself from all votes should that come to pass. |
