| Explaination | I do not perceive any conflict of interest between my current roles in other organizations and my prospective position on the board. Each of these organizations has a dedicated team responsible for conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with the standards set forth by the American Optometry Association and the Maryland Optometry Board. Nevertheless, I recognize the importance of transparently disclosing all my financial interests and regularly updating these disclosures to the Board to mitigate any misunderstandings or potential conflicts of interest. I think that my diverse experiences across various organizations will enhance the quality of eyecare services we provide to our community though address several defects in our health care which is regulated by the Board. |
