| Explaination | I am employed by Maryland and Virginia Milk Producers Cooperative Association, DBA Maola Local Dairies. I represent 94 Maryland dairy farm families and we own and operate two dairy processing plants in Maryland, Maola-Landover and Maola-Laurel. I am unsure if this constitutes the need for an exemption, but in the interest of full disclosure, I am requesting and exemption in case it is necessary. My goal on the advisory council will be to benefit the full Maryland dairy industry not just the interests of MDVA. A strong state dairy industry provides opportunities for the succuss of all dairy farms and dairy companies operating within the state. |
