| Explaination | I am the co-founder and an operator of Sitara Energy Group LLC, a Delaware-registered energy consulting and software company founded in November 2024. Sitara provides electricity rate forecasting services for developers, private equity firms, and infrastructure investors. While we do not currently engage with Maryland state agencies or programs and are not seeking SEIF funding or MEA contracts, our work may intersect with energy priorities addressed by the Strategic Energy Investment Advisory Board.
I understand that the Board advises the Maryland Energy Administration on clean energy investment decisions related to grid innovation, renewable deployment, affordability, and equity. My professional work gives me technical insight into those areas (particularly electricity rate modeling and market forecasting) that I believe can contribute constructively to the Board’s mission.
In the absence of an exemption, my financial and employment interests may be perceived as a conflict. I am committed to recusing myself from any matters where a conflict or appearance of conflict could arise and will fully comply with State Ethics Law. |
