| Explaination | I currently serve as Founder and CEO of Athena’s Zephyr Consulting, LLC, and hold other professional and advisory roles with organizations engaged in artificial intelligence strategy, governance, and implementation. These include consulting engagements with private-sector AI solution providers, leadership positions in technology-focused nonprofits, and board or committee service with entities that may have an interest in state-level AI policy.
While my workgroup service will be in a public-interest capacity, some of my professional activities involve advising on AI adoption, compliance, and governance frameworks that could be indirectly affected by the workgroup’s recommendations. In the absence of an exemption, these roles could be perceived as creating a potential conflict of interest. I will fully disclose these affiliations and recuse myself from any deliberations or decisions that could directly and predictably affect my financial interests or those of my clients. |
