| Explaination | I recently retired as the Chief Medical Officer for MedStar Family Choice (MFC), a Maryland Medicaid MCO, and formed a consulting business - Hemlock Consulting, LLC.
I have an agreement with MFC for part time consulting hours as a medical director. MFC members are seen at School Based Health Centers and MFC may contract with SBHC. In my current consulting role, I have no influence on contracting or other business decisions made by MFC.
Hemlock Consulting has also recently (in January 2023) signed a contract retro dated to December 2022 for participation in several projects with the Nat'l Assoc of Chronic Disease Directors on the Diabetes Prevention Program. I do not see any obvious conflicts but report this additional income/employment for completeness. |
